He says.....

Descending from the land that gave the world the likes of Cruyf, van Basten and Robben, I like to play the beautiful game of free flowing, attacking football. At home in an attacking midfield role I like to be involved and can not wait to hit the back of the net wearing an FC Tilburg Regents jersey.

Some say I look like Frank Lampard, others just point and laugh .. I don't really know why but if you find out let me know.

Hope to be just as valuable in de Hems as on the pitch.

1) Tilburg’s latest Antipodean hero “Ress” is too new to personally rip the piss out of barring recycling all the usual Outback gags that were aimed at Tilburg legend Aussie Dunc in his time.

However, urban myth has it that Russ likes to be dominated by 65-year-old grannies while dressing in man-sized baby clothing and torturing ex-Home & Away hound Dag Dog, whom he has kidnapped and stashed away in his Willesden Green basement flat.

Mr D is also a very able attacking outlet on the pitch, good passer of the ball and a top boy. Another forward ahead of no-goal’s O’Boyle in the pecking order although that’s not saying much.

2) Coming into his second season as a tilburger Russ has already acquired legend status by spending mere seconds on the pitch for the As against Greens but still managing to both score the winner and make a last ditch goal saving tackle.

Russ was a stalwart for the Bs early last season, and was one of the pioneering players to make the transition upwards into the A team. Russ was great on the Holland tour, and he's very funny in the pub. All the lads love him.
