....all phrases that used to be followed shortly by the glee of opponents rejoicing at yet another goal against Tilburg.
Not so anymore. Tilburg now have a Keeper! Not a faded player wanting to eke out a footballing existence in a position no one is likely to occupy. Not an 'new to these shores' immigrant, who once played handball and announces his intentions with 'it can't be that hard can it?'. Not an octogenarian albino, trying to get into the Guinness book of records.
Tilburg have Joe - and Joe has Tilburg......by the balls....in his safe gloves.....!
Joe is a quiet, unassuming but truly talented addition to the Tilburg books - it's just a little unfortunate his player card makes him look like the lead in Wolf Creek.
Joe also happens to be exceptionally hairy (we're talking more 5 million BC than 5 o'clock shadow) and it may just be those follicles that enable him to hold on to any rocket fired across his bow.
