Towers started his Tilburg career as a winger. However, there was more chance of Frank fitting through a small hole than Alex getting a cross in, so he moved to left back, and hasnt looked back since. Alex made his Tilburg name in our famous 4-1 win over Hounslow Wanderers, when he played for 80 minutes at centre half and had a stormer. A great timer of a tackle, and a big tall lad to boot. A lovely, erudite, yorkshire gentleman.

We'd like to get a good pre-seson under our belt, but we've already ran out of notches...
