Left footed player, reasonably quick, attacking midfield preferred role but
happy to cover anywhere really (except goalie). I know Harvey from home
(Richmond, North yorkshire), I knew him when he was thin (so known him from
a long time ago!).
I live in Balham and work for an oil company. Work keeps
me away sometimes but whenever home i'm happy to play. A really good bunch
of lads.
Paul Lyon, aka Slider, brings something to Tilburg that no burger has ever seen, and to be honest, we all thought was a myth - genuine pace.
Slider's approach to the beautiful game is brilliant in its simplicity, kick the ball as far as you can in front of you and then run after it. And who is to complain? This is the tried and trusted method of all playground football games across the nation, and is certainly closest to the "Tilburg System" of playing football. Indeed, opposition defenders recoil in fear when the cry goes up "boot it to Slider".
Slider's speed is so legendary and impressive he is actually able to turn back time when it has looked as though the Bees were in danger of conceding one goal too many, Slider has ran round the world so quickly he has been able to turn back time like Superman in Superman I.
Rumour has it, after seeing his mentor Vasey being nutmegged against Stonewall, to spare the big man's embarrassment, he ran round the world in order to allow the big man boot his opponent up the arse. This selfless devotion to the cause will make Slides an excellent edition to the Tilburg collective.
