Does Kate know about Robins sordid past???

Congratulations this month to the lovely future Mrs Weston. Kate penned the following whilst waiting for Robin to return from Greggs with his latest swag.....

I am truly honoured to receive this award, though receiving it after having been nominated by my future husband strikes (chance would be a fine thing - ed) me as a tad nepotistic, but hey, I’m not complaining, I never win anything! Having said that, I have to admit that I only turned up because there was the possibility of practicing my maternal skills on Gwennie for all the babies Robin has promised me!! Plus I had the added bonuses of it being quite a nice afternoon weatherwise, AND watching Robin fall over - a lot, though for once he didn’t pull a hamstring or muddy his precious gloves (he has very bad circulation in case you didn’t know)!! On the downside, the post-match drink I was promised turned into an endurance test to get to the bar, then avoid talking to women with cauliflower ears (of which there were many) and return to my seat before I turned 50!

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a special, separate thank you for ensuring that for most of the year, Saturdays are very peaceful in our house as I don’t have to hear about how underrated Blackburn are or how Match of the Day waits until the end to show the Blackburn match. Fortunately due to the strenuous weekly workouts you provide, the weak hamstringed-one is usually asleep on the sofa by 9 - still wearing his gloves!!

Having said all that, I did thoroughly enjoy myself on Saturday and didn’t actually think you were that bad (but hey I’m a girl, what do I know?!)
