Danny 'Dead Eye' Dowd

Another of the new 07-08 recruits, there are many words that can describe

Brummie Danny...deadly, lethal, clinical are sadly about as wide of the mark

as some of Danny's shooting. For it has taken about 180 minutes of

competitive football for Danny to go from talented, tough tackling, ball

player to a collective figure of fun for all of Tilburg, culminating in

being greeted by Damo with "I hear you're shit?"

Despite being predominantly a midfielder, the Tilburg collective have seen

enough promise in Danny to believe that he can probably miss from anywhere,

not just midfield.

There is still hope that Danny, once he overcomes the language and culture

barriers, can turn it round. Failing that we're going to get one of those

balls with little bells in, that might help a bit.
